That's what one of my friend called me after he sees these pictures..lol..
In fact, the blouse actually belongs to my grandma.. & she only wears them to funeral...
Well.. what's really need to be updated is not really about the pic above nor the funeral.. It's actually about a birthday :D
It's been (approx) a year now since we first launched One Of My Kind!
This whole experience is filled with both madness and awesomeness..
The mad bit.. probably the 10+hours photo shooting, 10+ hours sewing and another 10+hours doing description for each collection...& the awesome bit..hunting for all these vintage gems.. and of course receiving such a warm support from all our customer...
One Of My Kind wants to thank you all for the kind complements and "liking" us on Facebook!!
We promised to keep it up and do whatever it takes to satisfy our fans!!
DON'T FORGET TO ENTER OUR DRAW.. The winner of our biggest giveaway, Ray Ban sunnies, will be announced tomorrow night :D
This whole week .. I have been staying at home.. preparing some new items for the listing tmr!! & still... missing every bit of Thailand.. I hope this feeling goes away asap.. it's just making me feel sooo down...
How funny when people asked me why I love Melb.. I told them "because it's quiet and peaceful" and when I asked myself today why I miss Bangkok so much.. the answer is also "because Melb is too quiet and peaceful"
Looking at the picture above is kinda funny .. I will never be able to get a picture ALONE with a cute background like this in Thailand... and I LOVE&HATE the idea of it..
Look at the brighter side.. new items will be listed tomorrow night (both auction and BIN) + heapsss of amazing items are on its way.. should be here in 2 weeks.. cannot wait :D
This year I only got to spent just a few hours on the last day of LMFF at Central Pier Docklands..honestly I didn't get to see any show and even missed out the fashion weekend sales that I was counting down for... but honestly I kinda enjoyed just the scenery and the atmosphere here in Docklands... Don't you just love that 3Ds clouds?? well... may be it's only me!!.. since I've spent my last 2 weeks in Bangkok where you can't really see much of the sky..
The last couple of weeks have been crazy.. and I kinda have to sacrifice some schedule in order to accomplish the important ones...like moving house and visit family in Thailand..
Well.. it was all worth it!!.. and I'm missing every bit of Thailand right now.. how wonderful would it be?.. if I could just move Thailand and Australia closer so I can travel back and forth anytime I wish to..
Heaps of amazing stuff (Vintage and New) are hitting the stores.. in the next 2 weeks, all I can say is "DO NOT MISS OUT"
Finally.. My Karen Walker sunnies have arrived.. and I'm loving it.. :D
New Auction is hitting our store tonight so I have to rush back to Ebay to get them ready.. Hope you all are starting off the year with lots and lots of happiness and exciting plan!!! Check out our latest stocks .. just click HERE Be Quick!! Don't let the best pieces slip away !!
" W E W I S H Y O U A M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S ...."
This Christmas is a little different for our family, as my mom had just finished her heart surgery on the 25th December.. Yep! on Christmas day.. but we all felt pretty good as Christmas supposed to be "MAGICAL" and I'm sure in no later than 24 hours she will be conscious from anesthetic and ready to celebrate her NYE...
For some reason I didn't quite like these pictures.. my jumper and the red gift box just screamed "old school Christmas" (in a bad way).. it kinda brought back those old memories when my mum dressed me up for Christmas day.. and she would take pictures of me with anything red, gold or green. Since Christmas is a little more special to my mom this year, I thought I should just put up these pics anyway..
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and ready to celebrate your NYE!!
O U T O F O R D E R Yep! The first pic probably tell you everything about my day.. my sewing machine is dead.. the needle bar just wouldn't move...
So ironically that I was complaining about being sick of working at home with my sewing machine on the previous post...
May be it's really time for a good rest and maintenance for both my sewing machine and myself!!..
Now..I believed everything really happened for a reason :D
Unfortunately, the mechanic told us to pick it up on Friday, so.. we will have to skip this week auction and probably get back on track end next week! but trust me.. this just means lots and lots of lovely pieces have been accumulated here so more choices for you to choose .. just in time for NYE!!!
I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday :D
SHIRT & TIGHTS: ASOS, RING: HOUSE OF HARLOW, BAG: BALENCIAGA, HAT:EBAY, PATENT BROGUE: VINTAGE
Been pretty busy with all the sewing and preparation for our next auction.. and I found out that my blog is getting more and more boring, as I haven't been updating anything much lately...
The only excuse I have.. is that I have been spending 95% of my week indoor .. in a small messy house which filled with vintage clothes.. tangled threads... pins .. needles.. measurement tapes.. and a few pair of fabric scissors.. yep!! not a very inspiring place to do any outfit shoot.. and I started to find out that I should give my computer and sewing machine a break so that I can get out of the house and do something inspiring.. at least for myself...
I found above picture from one of a friend's facebook.. and the meaning hit me.. I think all these gadgets and whatever we should call it .. is becoming a major part of our life.. and I think once in a while living an old school style life.. and get outside of the house to see new inspiration and just inhale some fresh air is what we all need..
UP UP UP - QUICK QUICK QUICK~~ New stocks are up on ebay.. partly for buy it now so you don't have to worry about what to wear on X'mas.. and all the lovely events we all have been waiting for :D Check them out NOW!!! :D
